Vampire Hunting Time

It was a cold December evening when a stranger knocked on our door. We were very surprised because it was quite late already. When I opened the door it turned out that it was not a complete stranger who knocked on our door because we all knew him. The person who knocked was no other than the United States sixteenth President, Abraham Lincoln. But the fact that Honest Abe knocked on our door was not the most shocking thing about that night. It was that he was holding an axe tipped with silver.
But the strange things did not stop there. He asked us if he could come in and we said yes. I mean who would not want one the greatest leaders of all time in their house? We asked him if he was hungry since he is our guest. He said no. He also said that he has important task to do and he could not do it on his own. So he asked me if I would like to accompany him. First I asked what that task was because I do not want to go and accept something without knowing that something is. He first told me not to laugh at what he was going to say because even though it will sound silly and childish, he is very serious about it. He said to me with a VERY serious face that he is tasked to hunt a Vampire. I did not doubt him that there are vampires in this world so I immediately said yes.
We set out on dawn. I was very, very excited. While we were looking for the vampire, Abe told all about life in his time. He said that it was very hard especially with vampires sowing discord among the people. After 30 or so minutes, we finally reached the place where the vampire was said to be hiding. It did make sense that the vampire would hide in an alley because it was really dark in there. We found the vampire and then Abraham fought it fiercely and it was a good thing that he gave me his other axe because when the vampire came for my blood I was able to protect myself from his sharp fangs. While the vampire was occupied with me Abe then snuck up behind him and decapitated him in one graceful swing of the axe.
After the hunt, we returned to our house and he said that he had a lot of fun that night and he let me keep the axe that he gave me because he said that I earned it. Sad to say that that axe is now lost. But nevertheless we both had a lot of fun.

Pyramid of Student's Violations

This epic journey started on the eve of January 1 or New Year’s Eve. I was with 2 awesome people. Elliaz is one of my companions. He wields dual katanas. The names of his katana are Zangetsu and Haineko. My other teammate is Wendy. She wields a rapier named Lambent Light. She is also the one who always keep our morale up. I wield a dual saber named Vasilis.

One day, while I and Elliaz were sleeping a group of people came and took Wendy. We asked our old mentor Kakashi for help. He told us that the group of people who took Wendy is called Akatsuki. He also told us that Akatsuki is made up of evil people and that it is divided into nine ranks. They are residing in a pyramid-like building called Heuco Mundo and that it has nine rooms. One per rank. Kakashi told us that Wendy  is probably being held in the ninth room because that is the room for their leaders. Once we knew all about Akatsuki, he immediately set off to save my best friend Wendy.

The First Room- The Lazy
In the very first room of Hueco Mundo, we encounter the lazy people. These are the ones who are too lazy to do the homeworks and the seatworks. Once we defeated these violators, Kakashi gave them a disciplinary act and that is that they have to answer an endless stream of homeworks and seatworks and if they don’t answer them, they will suffer eternal pain. We now advance towards the second room.

The Second Room- The Tardy
The inhabitants of this room are the late people. These are the people who don’t wake up early enough. After we defeated these people, Kakashi also gave these people a disciplinary act. Their disciplinary act is that they are not allowed to sleep. Ever.

The Third Room- The Delinquents
The people in this room are the delinquents. These are the people who spread chaos and trouble. They also influence other people to sow discord. After we defeat the sowers of discord, Kakashi also gave them a disciplinary act. The disciplinary act for the people in this room is that their hands are to be forever bound and their mouths shut for all eternity.

The Fourth Room- Cutting Classes
The people in this room are the ones who cut classes. They cut classes because they think that education is not that important or they are doing something else. The disciplinary act for these people is that they will be tied down to a chair and they will be forced to attend class for one hundredfold of the time that they skipped.

The Fifth Room- Liars
The people here are the liars. These are the people who lie. Their disciplinary action is that their mouths will be shut for all eternity so that they will not be able to lie anymore.

The Sixth Room- The Cheaters
In this room, the cheaters reside. These are the ones who cheated during tests and seatworks. These are also the ones who cheated their scores. Their disciplinary action is that they will not have peripheral view anymore so that they cannot copy answers and that they will be forced to tell the truth everytime.

The Seventh Room- Thieves
In this room are the thieves. These are the ones who steal simply because they want that item. Their disciplinary act is that they will serve the person that they stole from for a year.

The Eighth Room- Bullies
In this room reside the bullies. These are the ones who torment other people. Their disciplinary act is that they will be bullied so that they will be able to feel how the people they bullied felt like.

The Ninth Room- Troublemakers
The people here are the troublemakers. They are the ones who fight with the teachers and other students. Their disciplinary act is that they will be trapped in a room for all eternity. In that room they can cause all the trouble they want and no one else will be affected.

Once we have defeated the Troublemakers, we immediately looked for where they might be hiding Wendy. After quite some time we finally found her and it turns out that she wasn’t harmed.

The Best Anime

On December 19, 2012, me and some of my friends were talking about which anime was better, Bleach or Naruto.

“Hey guys, which anime is better?” I asked them.

“Bleach or Naruto.” Ian said.

“I say Bleach.” Said Elli.

“Mine is Naruto.” Jad said.

“For me it’s Bleach.” I said.

“I saw a site and it said that Naruto is the anime with the most episodes.” Said Jad.

”But Bleach has a better story and it is less confusing.” Elli said.

“By the way, who’s your favourite character on Naruto?” Ian asked.

Jad and Ian said that Minato is their favourite character because he’s awesome and he is good at teleporting in Naruto.

I and Elli said that Kakashi was our favourite character because of his dogs and his sharingan in his eye can do a lot of strange things.

“How about in Bleach?” I asked them.

Elli’s is Ichigo because of his bankai and the effect of it gives him greater speed in combat.

“Kenpachi because he is very strong even though he has no bankai.” Said Ian.

I also chose Kenpachi because of the same reason.

Jad chose Rangiku for her awesome sword.
“Both of these animes are good and we should watch them to learn some lessons that we can apply in real life.” I said.
They agreed with what I said

Thinking of You

   "Wendy we can get away
I promise if you're with me say the word and well find a way
And I can be your lost boy
The last chance, your "everything better plan"
Somewhere in Neverland..."               ATL- Somewhere In Neverland

Dear Patricia,

You are like the peanut butter to my jelly.
You are the Nutella to my sandwich.
                       You are my oxygen.
                       In short, you, complete me.

My fair maiden, this semestral break has been one of the best weeks of my life. Even though you have not blessed my eyes with your angelic face, just chatting with you is enough for me. During our film viewing I enjoyed the brief moments that we were near each other. I know that I have made you sad and that was a foolish act and I now ask for your forgiveness.

I know that you love or like someone else. But I have already doubled down on this sinking ship so I will see it till it's last breath just like King Leonidas at the Battle of Thermopylae. Even though the chances of the Spartans returning alive were slim, they still went ahead and they never gave up. And not giving up is sometimes a good thing. Always remember that no matter what, I will always be with you. Through the good, the bad, the happy, and the sad. But hey, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs and they were so great.

Yours Sincerely,
      Harry

Comedy Of Errors

Comedy of Errors for me was a truly interesting piece of work. It was, for me, one of Shakespeare's best works. Then again, all of Shakespeare's works are masterpieces. But what made CoE stand out for me was it's theme. Shakespeare did a lot of stories and novels. Most of the themes of the Shakespearean masterpieces were tragedy. He only did a few non-tragedy stories. Some examples or those non-tragedies are Comedy of Error, A Midsummer Nights Dream, and Much Ado About Nothing.

Comedy of Errors was about twins who would get the other one in trouble because they look alike and other people have a hard time telling them apart. On one occasion one twin wasn't even allowed to enter his home because his twin was already there and his wife thought it was him. On another occasion, one of the twins bought something from a merchant some time ago and he still hasn't paid it back yet and so the merchant is on the lookout for the twin. The merchant sees one of the twins and he demands for the payment but he doesn't know that he has the wrong twin. The twin refuses to pay so the merchant tells him to the police and he then put in jail because of his twin's shenanigans and he isn't the one suffering for it.

It is that kind of things that make CoE unique and interesting. It keeps the reader or readers hooked because the story keeps them entertained.

To Be or Not To Be

To Be or Not To Be
'Tis a question we must ask thyself
We must first understand thyself
Before we soil other people's reputation

To Be or Not To Be
If someone doesn't like who you are
Just ignore them and say
♫ Why can't you just be happy for me?

To Be or Not To Be
It is a very important question for a group of people
That group of people are the talented artists
As they ask themselves " 2B or Not 2B?"

Which Language?

Language is the human capacity for acquiring and using complex systems of communication, and a language is any example of such a system of complex communication. The scientific study of language is called linguistics. It is impossible to know precisely how many languages there are in the world, and the number depends on a partly arbitrary distinction between languages and dialects. However, estimates vary between around 6,000 and 7,000 languages in number. Natural languages are spoken or signed, but any language can be encoded into secondary media using auditory, visual or tactile stimuli, for example in graphic writing, braille, or whistling. This is because human language is modality-independent. When used as a general concept, "language" may refer to the cognitive ability to learn and use systems of complex communication, or to describe the set of rules that makes up these systems, or the set of utterances that can be produced from those rules.

For me learning the english language is more important because we will be able to use it to communicate with foreigners in our country and when we go to other countries. Also we students are also being taught how to talk, read, and write in english properly so that we will not be having too much troubles when we speak to foreigners.

While mastering the english language is has the most priority, learning our native language is also a must. Even if it is only the basics we know. It will make talking to our kinsmen easier and better.

Intrams

Intramural sports or intramurals are recreational sports organized within a set geographic area. The term derives from the Latin words intra muros meaning "within walls", and was used to indicate sports matches and contests that took place among teams from "within the walls" of an ancient city (as opposed to a varsity team which competed with teams from other cities and towns.

When the date of when our Intrams was announced, a lot of students became really excited. The most awaited sports during the Intrams were Volleyball and Basketball. Third Year (Red Bayern) was CHAMPION in four sporting events: Volleyball Boys, Sack Race Boys and Girls, and Sepak Takraw.

I think that Intrams is very useful and we can all benefit from it. It's activities can give us a boost in morale. That boost of morale will lead to a more positive view on school and it will also serve as a motivator for us students. It can also strengthen the bonds that exist between us students and also to teachers.

NCAE

The purpose of NCAE was to find out what specific course of job would be perfect for us. It is supposed to help us in the future. But the course that will be determined for an individual isn't always the course they eventually take. That is because somepeople might not answer the tests honestly or that individual's likes might change.

For our NCAE the boys were separated from the girls. The boys were in the two classrooms on the second floor of the Maliksi Building, but we didn't all fit in there so three boys were in one classroom downstairs with the girls.

We started the tests at 8:00 AM. We finished around 2:00 PM. Most of the tests were really easy but there were a few exceptions like the test were you had to find out which among the four pictures or shapes stood out. It was hard because some of the differences were really small and hard to see.

After the NCAE we just continued the Intramurals.

Cookies

They are loved by everyone
except for the lactose-intolerant ones
and people who want to watch the world burn.
People put them in urns.

I have loved cookies
I love cookies
I am loving cookies
I will love cookies forever.

There are different flavors of cookies.
There are chocolate chip
There's blueberry
There is also white chocolate

One thing will never change
Ever since I came into contact with that alluring substance
I have loved it
And thus my love will not falter!

Our Inevitable Fate

Our Planet Earth could be compared to a very well known but fictional planet. That planet is Krypton. The birthplace of Kal-El or as he is best known as Superman or Clark Kent. The planet of the Kryptonians is very similar to ours because of the cause as to why their planet perished. The cause is US. The very people of Earth are the ones that are dooming this planet. We are following in the footsteps of the Kryptonians and their fate. Except we probably won't have anyone to send to another planet where he will develop superpowers because our technology to date can't even produce clean energy without a horrible side effect let alone have a spacecraft capable of Faster-Than-Light Travel. The ultimate cause for our inevitable fate is not Mother Nature and her natural disasters. The real cause is our stubbornness and arrogance. We are to stubborn to acknowledge the fact that we cannot solve this problem by just using paper products and "eco-friendly oil". Even if we ban the use of plastic and broaden the uses for paper we would still be cutting down more grown trees than we could plant knew ones. Even if we could hope to plant
the same amount of trees we cut, it would not create that much oxygen and take in that much carbon dioxide because the trees we cut were grown trees and the ones that we would plant are only saplings. It is safe to say that our race will suffer the consequences of our actions and we shall die alongside our planet unless we take drastic measures or we achieve a breakthrough in technology which will give us the means to traverse the vast Sea of Stars which lies beyond our Solar System.

Comic Relief

For this blog we were asked to alter Romeo and Juliet's ending yet again but the ending would have to be comic relief. For my ending I will change the scene after Romeo kills Paris. After Romeo puts Paris in the coffin Friar Lawrence arrives and explains Juliet's plan. The Friar realizes that he actually loves Romeo and he confesses to Romeo his feelings. Surprisingly Romeo finds it odd but he reluctantly confesses that he feels the same way but he loves Juliet more than he loves the Friar. In anger the Friar tells Romeo to leave the room. Romeo does it out of sympathy. What Romeo doesn't realize is that Lawrence has a plan. The objective of the plan is to make sure that Romeo will forever love him. He plans on doing that by murdering Juliet in her sleep. He picks up Paris' sword and then he plunges it deep in Juliet's chest. He calls Romeo in the room and then once Romeo sees Juliet's horrible fate he breaks down in tears. He asks the Friar to explain what happened. The Friar claims that Paris wasn't exactly dead and that he wanted vengeance on Juliet and he learned that she isn't actually dead so using his last breath he kills her because she broke his heart. After they grieved Lawrence tells Romeo that they should go to Mantua so that they could escape their problems in Verona. Romeo agrees and they flee the crime scene. Once they get to Mantua they start over and then they lived happily ever after.

Romeo and Juliet

I honestly didn't expect for Romeo and Juliet to end the way that it did. I expected that it's ending would be on a happy note. The reason I didn't expect that kind of ending was because Romeo and Juliet was a romance story and all romance stories I know end with a "and they lived happily ever after" theme.

I have decided to alter the stories ending so that it will be, in my opinion, better. First I will change the part where Paris and Romeo will fight. They should just cooperate and mourn Juliet in peace, because they don't know that she is alive, and then no one will have to die. I will also change the scene when Romeo commits suicide. He should not have killed himself, instead he should have gone to Lawrence and ask him why Juliet committed suicide. There he will learn their plan and then the Capulets and the Montague will put aside their egos and pride so that they will all be able to live "Happily ever after".

Family

A family is very important in an individuals life. They can bring happiness and sadness. They can also inspire a person when they are facing a tough challenge.

A family doesn't always have to be your relatives or kin. They can just be a person's friends or best friends as long as they share a special bond or brotherhood. A very common example of a family without any kin is with your classmates.

An ideal family is one where all the members are getting along fine and they don't argue with each other. They also have to help other members who are having a problem. They must also care  for one another.

My Idol

My Father has always been a big influence for me. Except in math because he's good at it and I just plain suck at it. Other than that we quite a lot in common. We both like playing video games and we basically have the same taste in gaming though he is better than me in some games. Another thing we have in common is our love for Gundam and other animes which have big robots in it.

My plan for Father's Day was to greet him as soon as he woke up. I intended to make my dad as happy as he can be. One thing I was sure of was that I won't forget to greet him in the morning.

I won't ask for anything on Father's Day except maybe some food from Jollibee or McDonalds when we go out to celebrate the day. I had hoped to hear him say thank you to us and he did. I also reminded him to enjoy the day as much as he can. I was also really happy that day because I got to play with him in the computer against people from other countries and we both enjoyed it.

3rd Year

For me being a junior is easier than being a sophomore. I think that because the homeworks/assignments are easier to do. Some of the 3rd year subjects are harder than the 2nd year ones, for example Physics and Chemistry are harder than their 2nd year counterparts, Botany and Chemistry. Even though some of the 3rd year subjects are harder there are some that are easier like Analytic Geometry is easier than the 2nd year Geometry.

I personally like the canteen 2 because for me it has a wider range of food and drinks. The only downside of the canteen 2 is it's size. But that doesn't really matter for me because most of the time I just eat in our classroom.

So far I am enjoying being a junior. I am enjoying the new subjects because they are very challenging and I want to push myself to my limits. I guess we will have to wait and see if being a junior will change me or not.
